Welcome and Introduction

This is the home page for the Joint Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adults Policy and Procedures for West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and City of York.

The procedures set out the framework for how agencies across Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, North Yorkshire, Wakefield and the City of York respond to concerns raised about abuse and neglect of adults at risk.

Each Safeguarding Adults Board has its own website. This provides a 'gateway' to the Joint Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adults' Policy and Procedures, as well as access to a range of guidance and resources applicable to each local area.
